DUSTOFF Annual Award Recipients Honored

Reunion 2022 was an amazing time this year. We held our Annual Reunion at the Holiday Inn – RIverwalk. Inducted into our DUSTOFF Hall of Fame were COL Retired Dave MacDonald, COL Retired Scoot Heintz and LTC Retired Steve Peth. Also honored were our DUSTOFF Aviator of the Year CW3 Richard Corley, DUSTOFF Medic of the Year SSG William Bavetta, and the DUSTOFF Rescue of the Year award to Detachment 2, 20211th GSAB out of Alaska for a really great mountain hoist rescue. Following the reunion, COL Retired Johnny West, Former President, traveled to his son’s change of command at Yakima DUSTOFF and made the award to the DUSTOFF Crew Chief of the Year along with the Breeze Eastern representative Dan Ledding, former First Sergeant of that same unit. The Crew Chief of the Year went to SSG Brian Green. Our great congratulations go these great DUSTOFFers.
