Don Begley

Sergeant First Class Don Begley, U.S. Army (Retired), departed this life peacefully in his home on 18 July, 2019 at the age of 58. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Donald and Arlene Begley on 18 September, 1960.

Don was a medic stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany. Don was a Flight Medic in DUSTOFF Europe with the 236th Medical Detachment, Augsburg Germany from 1982-1985. Don and Cornell Richardson shared an EFMB coin (they had the coin cut in half) – one of the first ever produced by the U.S. Army Medical Department EFMB Test Control office.

He was an Eagle Scout, recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal, and served his country proudly and honorably for 20 years.
