Chester Charles Crump Jr.

Chester Crump Jr, born February 16, 1948, passed away at 75 years old, in his home in New Braunfels, TX on January 21, 2024. He leaves behind his wife Tran Crump. His daughter Lytrell Williams and husband Layfette. Two sons Chester III and wife Pandora, and Gregory and wife Valerie. Three grandchildren Hailee (Lytrell’s daughter), and Logan and Lilly (Gregory’s son and daughter). He also leaves behind his sisters Jean Bailey and Shirley Crump, his brother Jack and wife Debra, three nephews Chuck Price, Jason Cucksee, and Justin Crump. He is predeceased by his parents Chester Sr and Hattie Crump, sisters Betty Mansell and Mary Winkler, and his nephew Neal Cucksee.

He was born in Dalton, GA where he enlisted in the US Army during the Vietnam War, he continued in the service after the war, retiring in 1988 after a 23 year career as a combat medic earning several awards. He proudly served with the 45th Dustoff Air Ambulance through the Vietnam War.

A memorial service for Chester will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130.
