James Brown

Mr. James Leonard Brown, Sr., age 75 of Portland, Tennessee passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Brown was born on October 18, 1946 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Carl and Elizabeth Brown.

Mr. Brown is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joan Brown; children, Charles (Kim) Enderle, Joyce (Robert) Watson, Brodie (Jennifer) Brown, and Jamie (Roger) DeWilde; grandchildren, Tres Enderle, Janessa (Jon) Culwell, Ethan Brown, Connolly Owen, Cadie Enderle, Reid Enderle, Audrey Brown, Jonny Owen, Ashley DeWilde, and Austin (Hannah) DeWilde; great-grandchild, Axell Enderle; sister, Carleen Brown

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by grandchildren, Jeremy and Jordan Enderle, Cameron Enderle.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 26th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Pastor Mike Holmes officiating. Interment will follow the service at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Austin DeWilde, Roger DeWilde, Robert Watson, Connolly Owen, Ethan Brown, and Mike Holmes. Visitation with the family will be Monday, September 26th from 9:30 AM until time of service.
