He was born 1 Jan 52 in Portland OR, the son of Maxine Trierwailer and Jack and Mary Bush. He attended Winslow High School before entering in the United States Army where he served for 6 years as a DUSTOFF medic including a tour in Vietnam. He later attended Lee College where he obtained a associate in Applied Science degree. For the next 30 years he worked as a Safety/Medical Engineer.
