Michael John Mallon

Michael Mallon

We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Michael John Mallon of Temple, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Murray Mallon and Mary Mallon (Bednar); and his sister Patricia Ondrejicka. He is survived by : his caregiver Anesthetist; his close friend Lisa Archambault; his wife Lisa Mallon; his children, Leilani Mallon, Max “Yulian” Mallon of Temple, Keri Lyn Mallon of Lubbock and Casey Mallon of Sherman Oaks, CA.; his grandchildren, Quinn, Rylan and Rocky; and his brother John Mallon.

Michael grew up and attended school in Lebanon, PA. Shortly after grade school he enlisted into the United States Army where he would serve his country proudly as a Dustoff medic in Vietnam. He would spend over six years in the Army from 62’ to 65’ and then again from 67’ to 70’ with two tours in Vietnam. In 1970 he discharged from the Army and later went on to welcome his first two children Keri Lyn and Casey. He would eventually go on to become a Nurse Anesthetist where he would travel the continental United States as well as America Samoa, eventually ending up in Hawaii. While in Hawaii he would meet and marry his best friend, Lisa Archambault in 1993. Together they would raise a family and walk side by side enjoying life together. Michael loved to travel, be with his family and friends, and he loved knowing about history; he was also interested in society, politics, football and loved scuba diving. He was a man of great integrity; Michael’s word was his bond. He was a man of great compassion for his fellow humans and animals alike, especially his beloved pet cats. Michael and Lisa have been residents of Temple for the past 13 years. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
