James A. “Jim” Moore

James A. “Jim” Moore, 74, of East Liverpool passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.

Jim was born in East Liverpool on October 11, 1948. He worked as a construction superintendent at Epcon and was self-employed in the construction field. Jim was a veteran of the Army proudly serving during the Vietnam War as a helicopter repairman and in the 159th Med and 45th Med DUSTOFF Aeromedical Evacuation Units retrieving the wounded. He was a member of ATG. Jim was a very adventurous person. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.

Preceding Jim in death was his father Homer Moore.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Carletta (Elkins) Moore; two daughters Lonnie Ice and Terry Rhodes and her husband Sean; four grandchildren Dakota Ice, Kadin Wolfe, Joslin Rhodes and Dalani Ice; mother Geraldine “Jerry” (Wright) Moore; brother Gary Moore and his wife Debbie; sister Melissa McElhaney and her husband Rob and five nephews Sam, Casey, Tyler, Matt and Justin.
